Summary

Paillas is an attractive farmhouse set in serene location in the Quercy Blanc within the Lot department.

The house is set among 3 acres of wonderfully landscaped gardens and lawns, with its own private swimming pool, and a large signature terrace overlooking the grounds.

Please note that Paillas can comfortably acccommodate 8 people + an infant.

We can accommodate 10 people for sleeping purposes to include the Cave Studio, however, 10 people is not suitable within the main lounge area. We have 4 double beds in total (1 Superking, 1 King and 2 Doubles), plus a Twin room combining 2 single beds (which can also be made up as 1 further double bed) and an infant cot. We have one cot and one highchair.

Please note that our swimming pool is open between 1 May and 1 October.

Main floor level

The main floor comprises a charming lounge with feature wood burner, comfortable leather sofas, TV (U.K FreeSat), DVD and Ipod/Iphone docking station.

Modern kitchen equipped with stove, oven, refrigerator, freezer, microwave/convection oven, coffee machine and dishwasher, and plenty of storage in the cupboard.

Two double bedrooms with wardrobes and a further bedroom with 2 single beds, which can be made up into another double if required. The beds are equipped with fine egyptian cotton linens, and high-quality towels are supplied.

There are two shower rooms on this floor, one of which is an en-suite, both shower rooms have a toilet and washbasin.

From the kitchen, French doors lead out onto the stunning terrace that extends the length of the property. Enjoy an alfresco meal at the oak dining table, or enjoy a relaxing glass of wine. From the terrace, there is a stone staircase leading down to the garden level.

Garden level

At the garden level is a huge master bedroom with en-suite bathroom with soaker tub. The bedroom walks out to the patio outside where you can enjoy a morning coffee at the bistro table.

Via separate access, there is a traditional vaulted stone cave with one double bed, separate shower room and kitchenette. This is ideal for those guests within a party who require a little more privacy, such as older children, or grandparents.

Air conditioning is available throughout the entire garden level.

There is a utility room on this level also with a separate washing machine and tumble dryer.

Swimming Pool and the Gardens

The swimming pool is 8m x 4m and surrounded by a paved sun terrace. The pool area is fully equipped with garden furniture, parasols and lounge chairs. A Weber charcoal barbeque is also supplied.

The acres of lawns are level and naturally bordered by trees giving the area an enchanted feel. Children and adults can have plenty of fun in the safe space, playing football and other games.

Management and cleaning

Paillas is professionally managed and cleaned by a local company with years of experience to ensure that your stay is comfortable and to assist should you require any assistance.

Linens are provided upon arrival including bath towels and pool towels. Should you require a mid-stay clean or extra linen during your stay, please do ask upon booking and we can arrange this for you at an extra cost.
